We have had a busy couple of weeks. A weeklong trip with the entire Koops family to a Lake Michigan cottage, a baby shower for Sarah Kramer, Jim's 30th birthday, dad K's birthday, 2 weddings, and a visit from Uncle Ryan. and we have had way too much fun!
Despite that we have also had an unhappy baby. Yesterday we (as in myself and the pediatrician) decided to start Kady on zantac and see if some of her unhappiness is reflux...and not colic. Being home and on a schedule has seemed to help her, in fact I have seen her eyes and smile more in the last 2 days than I did the entire last week! Much relief for a stressed mom.
I return to work on Friday.....I'm really not sure that it's time for me to go back....but Friday is the day. I'm sure it will go well for all involved!

Oh Steph :( I feel your pain sister!! Jake was an angel for 2.5 weeks and then the screaming started and didn't stop for months. He has been on 2ml 2x/day of Zantac since about 3 months old! It's been a lifesaver! We're just starting to wean him since he's almost 10 months now. But seriously....Acid Reflux is THE WORST!!!!! Non-stop screaming and there is nothing you can do about it!!!! :( I hope the Zantac makes her feel better!
Hope today goes well for you! Take everything in stride and you should be fine and don't be so hard on yourself. More growing pains.
