March in review

It has been awhile......I've been trying to recover from a ruptured ear drum, sinus infection, sore throat, cough, and whatever other germs I've been finding along the way! We have had a busy March, we are almost ready for the baby to be here! I can't believe that it is only 6 weeks away! I still think it's going to be a boy, and Jim said for the first time last night he might think it's a girl, because that's what Lucy thinks. But Lucy did change her mind in the doctor's office today and say that it was a boy.....hmmmmm I'm getting REALLY curious!!!

....and the big easter egg hunt! She loved that the Easter bunny hid eggs for her!

Still our little pianist

The angle is great! Jim still thinks if you turn the video camera this way that the picture will follow!!! Sorry, Jim! Lucy loves to take her books up to the piano and "play" us songs.......it's even better when we sing along! For a change of pace you get to hear Jim instead of me! Enjoy

30 weeks

I usually don't post any pics of myself, but I was feeling rather cute (it's amazing what a new maternity shirt can do for the image), so I have decided to let everyone see my 30 week belly. Pregnancy the second time around is quite different, yet similar. I cannot complain since I have been healthy and the pregnancy uncomplicated. We have not found out what we are having, and it doesn't seem to bother me a bit. I have no feelings either way about the sex. Jim thinks it is a boy, and Lucy will tell you it's a sister. Either way it will be fun to have another somebody to love and watch grow.

We are slowly getting our house ready here. We are putting in a playroom downstairs. It should be a fun room, Jim painted it and we're hoping the carpet goes in tomorrow! I'll definately put in some before and after pictures up after that's done. We are also refinishing some furniture for Lucy (my bedroom set when I was little), making the office upstairs into a nursery....and then finding room for all of the things that belonged in the office.

I love having projects to do around the house, and it makes it a little more exciting when you have a deadline as big as a due date!
